All In – Shouted out to signal the start of the fishing match. Sometimes signalled by a whistle or klaxon.
All Out – Shouted out to signal the end of the fishing match. Sometimes signalled by a whistle or klaxon.
Draw – Draw at random the peg you will be fishing for the duration of the match.
Fish On – Shouted by an angler when playing a fish when the match ends to avoid foul play being suspected!
Flyer – A notes well known area that regularly produced results
Peg – The numbered location in which you will be fishing for the duration of the match.
Swim – The area of water where you are fishing
Weight In – Each competitor weights their cumulative total at the end of the match.
