Originally starting out in April 2024, we are now a small club of like-minded anglers match fishing for experience and fun.
Our club suits novice, beginner and amateur anglers who have both minimal fishing experience and years of experience under the belt who like to match fish without the pressure of attending open matches against professional and expert anglers.
Our matches are run in a similar fashion with a draw, 5 hours of match fishing and winners being those with the most weight of fish caught.
Every angler is awarded points based on the weight of fish caught (more weight = less points), and at the end of the match season, trophies are presented to those with the least points.
Our matches are not about winning (although a little healthy competition is good!) more about having some fun, meeting like-minded anglers and experiencing match fishing.
Our club also has a range of experienced anglers around to give advice and help out as needed so members never struggle on their own!
